The anodized aluminum sheet production process
The pretreatment process of the alumina sheet is an important part of determining the appearance quality of the product. The removal of mechanical lines, sanding, matt, and brightening are all determined by the pretreatment process. There are four treatment processes:
1. Polishing process:
the anodized aluminum sheet is put into the polishing tank after degreasing. After 2-5 minutes of polishing, a mirror surface can be formed, and it can be directly oxidized after washing. The core process of this process is polishing, and the grain removal and mirror surface are all completed in the polishing groove. Polishing has the advantages of low aluminum consumption and bright alumina sheet, but the escape of NOx from the polishing tank causes serious environmental pollution and physical injury to operators. At the same time, factors such as expensive chemical raw material costs also restrict the promotion of this process.
2. Alkaline etching process:
In the alkali etching bath, the mechanical lines, natural oxide film, and sand are removed by the alkali etching treatment, and then the black dust on the surface is removed by the light outlet bath, and then anodizing can be carried out. However, this process has high aluminum consumption, wastes resources, and brings serious environmental problems, and increases wastewater treatment costs. This process has been used for more than 100 years, and it has been used in most aluminum factories around the world. It was gradually replaced by acid etching until the past two years.
3. Acid etching process:
After degreasing, the anodized aluminum sheet is first acid-etched, then alkali-etched, and light is emitted, and the pre-treatment is completed. The biggest advantages of acid etching are the ability to remove mechanical lines, fast sanding, and low aluminum consumption. However, the environmental protection problem of acid etching is more prominent. In addition, after acid etching treatment, the appearance of the alumina sheet will become black and dark. These problems have been so far There is no effective solution yet.
4. Leveling and bright process:
The so-called leveling and bright process is a new anodized aluminum sheet surface pretreatment process after polishing, alkali etching, and acid etching. It is a profound transformation and reform of alkali etching and acid etching processes. It not only has the advantages of low aluminum consumption in acid etching, a strong ability to remove mechanical lines, and fast sanding but also has the bright polish. The leveling and the bright process are much simpler than acid etching and alkali etching, and even simpler than the polishing process.
